12 months ago, the Goal Africa team revealed their big wishes for African football in 2020...did they come true?

FAIL: Time for the Cranes to fly
A year ago, Goal Kenya's Kiplagat Sang expressed his wish for Uganda to shina in 2020, with the Cranes set to be targetting success at the 2020 African Nations Championship.
Ultimately, this didn't come to pass, with the African Nations Championship rescheduled from March 2020 to January 2021. There's still time, therefore, for the Cranes to thrive in the CHAN...even though it comes 10 months later than planned.
Uganda's senior time won one and lost on against South Sudan, and even though Jonny McKinstry's side didn't impress across that double-header, they remain in the top two in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group B.
