The Towson men love playing close games.
The Tigers played another one Tuesday night. A seven-goal first half was enough to withstand a strong second-half push from Hofstra as Towson improved to 5-6 (2-3, CAA) with a 10-8 win at Johnny Unitas Stadium.
Redshirt-senior attackman Bordy McLean scored four times, and Shane Brennan made 14 saves.
