Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. It wouldn’t be a midweek night of lacrosse without an upset nobody saw coming.
The unranked Towson women defeated No. 8 Loyola 13-7 behind four goals from Maryland transfer Nikki Sliwak. Kerri Liucci scored three goals, and Blair Pearre added two more.
The Tigers dominated the draw battle (15-8) and held Loyola scoreless for 35 minutes after allowing the Greyhounds to take a 2-0 lead. Towson scored 10 unanswered goals in that span, taking a 10-2 lead.
