RITTMAN A local dollar store has expanded its grocery aisles to offer fresh foods -- meats, fruits and vegetables.
The store, at 415 N. Main St., closed its doors from April 18-22 to remodel and update to a DG Market format - a new layout with offerings that go beyond snacks and cooler drinks.
The market format aims to provide access to fresh foods at a location closer to Rittman customers for purchase at affordable prices. Customers can also expect to find the same categories, brands, and products that Dollar General has always carried.
“We are excited to provide Rittman residents with our new DG Market format and look forward to welcoming customers to our recently remodeled location,” said Dan Nieser, Dollar General’s senior vice president of real estate and store development, in a news release.
