Devendra Fadnavis dubs Shiv Sena, Congress’ fight over renaming Aurangabad as ‘drama’ ahead of civic polls

Speaking to the media, the Leader of Opposition called the face-off between Sena and Congress as a ‘drama.’
Shiv Sena's demand to rename Aurangabad as Sambhajinagar has caused unease in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government with Maharashtra Congress president Balasaheb Thorat saying that the party would strongly oppose any proposal that seeks to rename the city. A few days back, Thorat had asserted that changing the names of places is not a part of the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) of the three ruling parties in Maharashtra.
