Detroit Lions’ head coach Dan Campbell said his players are going to “bite a kneecap off” opponents if they get knocked down.
Now, the first-year coach wants to add a dose of realism to the team’s nickname along with bringing an extra - and somewhat scary - source of motivation for his players. Campbell said he talked to team owner Sheila Ford Hamp about acquiring a pet lion and having the animal roam the practice facility to motivate his players.
