this decision. goal, as the group is known, they were hoping to be part of this because, of course, they are allies. now they are not part of this. what is this discussion? what is this reaction? >> well, i mean, it's our take that, you know, change doesn't happen without those on the inside and those willing to fight for it and us in goal and officers throughout the lapd stand at the forefront of piloting that change and for us i think that's the work that is in our mission that we'll continue to do. as far as pride goes, it's definitely something that i celebrate nine years next month as an officer and i marched in seven of those marches. i've worked as the detail, you know, protective in one of those. it's just a jubulent day and such a disappointment that we won't be able to participate in the usual capacity. >> some of the best are the uniformed officers, full disclosure.
