would make the bill better, frankly. but if we cannot find republican cooperation, we are committed to invest in an historic way, in american infrastructure. >> joining me now, tia mitchell, washington correspondent for the atlanta journal constitution. also, with me, former congresswoman of florida. tia, what are the chances republicans will actually come back to the table on this? >> oh, that's the million-dollar question. i think, there's a chance that republicans come up with something, so it doesn't look like they just turned their back on being, quote/unquote, bipartisan. i'm not sure if it will be a change in price tag. which, of course, is what the biden administration is looking for. you know, he came down. he is hoping the republicans come up. i'm not sure that will happen, that they'll budge on the price tag. but i think they will come up with something, that at least they market as a counteroffer. >> the art of marketing.
