president i would be inclined to believe a blanket denial. most other presidents won't deny it if our spies are spying and recruiting. they'll say something maybe indicating that we're not doing as big a job or something like that, or they're not all being recruited. i think actually what's interesting is, though, it's showing that the iranian government is feeling heat or pressure internally. i'm not convinced this is direct ted international community as much as it's directed at iranians internally. the sanctions are biting. there's a lot of pressure there being exerted on the iranian government, on iranian society. and inside the united states right now, we know there's a faction that would love for regime change. would love for iran to suddenly overnight become a democracy. even secretary of state pompeo said yesterday -- >> the national security adviser as well -- >> yes, exactly, as you said, john bolton is in that camp as well and the iranians know this.
