>> hey, brian. and some new news on the governor's race in georgia. obviously, one of the most closely watched in the country. brian kemp, the republican secretary of state, leading in the poll by one point over stacey abrams. keep in mind though that there is a third candidate here, the libertarian ted metz getting 4%. and why is that so crucial is because georgia is sort of unique among states. they have a runoff provision in governor's races. if neither kemp nor abrams gets 50% in november, if metz gets a few points, keeps them both under 50%, there is a runoff. that runoff would be held on december 4th, and that is the wild card there. and in the race, the intensity, the high interest in it, we may be seeing a bit of a ripple effect in two congressional races in georgia. democrats trying to pick up 23 seats. here's a blast from the past. about a year, year and a half
