that information to mueller's grand jury earlier this year. what could it all mean for the president and of course the russia investigation? here to weigh in, msnbc national security analyst and former doj spokesperson, matt miller. goldstone doesn't seem to be holding anything back. he in detail describes his grand jury testimony. he thinks it's unlikely -- he doesn't know for sure -- unlikely that president trump didn't know about the meeting. what do you think this all means for the broader investigation? g >> i think that's the most important unanswered question, whether the president knew about it. if you look at the account, he admits he was, you know, carrying out what he called a dirty operation, trying to, you know, get information from the russian government to the trump campaign and that they willingly accepted it. i think the most interesting thing he said in the interview is the speculation about what, you know, that the most important conversations were not the ones he had by e-mail with donald trump jr. but the two phone calls that donald trump had with ogolarof.
