it turned out what the jury was trying to say they wanted to know what the process was if they couldn't come to a verdict. it turned out that on ten of the 18 counts against manafort, they were deadlocked. we don't know by what margin. we don't know if it was 11-1 or 6-6. we just don't know that at this point. it did kind of go out with a whimper. but i must say if you're the defendant to hear yourself pronounced guilty on eight felony counts in a federal courtroom, it's certainly not a good day for you. and i saw paul manafort swallow pretty hard when the first guilty verdict on the first tax charge came in. after that he pretty much just froze. >> yeah. bracing moment none of us want to experience firsthand. hey, daniel, now as an ex-fed center us up as the way they see this in washington. if you're mueller's office, is a win a win? >> yes. very simply yes.
