bipartisan bills floating around here on the senate side of things that would potentially impose much stricter sanctions, much more punishment for the russians should they choose to get involved again in 2018. so you are seeing congress flex a little bit of muscle on this. this is not an academic issue for congress in the way that it might be for the white house. when every single member of the house is up for reelection, these folks are see their jobs and careers on the line here so they want to be as strong as possible on this. that hearing tomorrow afternoon with mike pompeo on this topic is going to be fascinating. >> on one hand we're glad that he's acknowledging that russia did involve themselves. on the other hand, they said they better stop doing it, we're waiting to see what sort of teeth better stop doing it has. what are we expecting? is this the central topic for mike pompeo in his testimony tomorrow? >> reporter: that's hard to say.
