without tripping, dehydrating or ruining my career. how much is actually riding on his performance tonight? >> well, i think he has a calling card because of his name. his great, great grandfather i guess was mayor of boston and on down. i don't think this particular moment means a great deal. what seems to be in this particularly tribal political moment, and you spent every day thinking about this as well, is can you get anyone to listen to the other side in an intellectually honest and open way? or if you're in that 35% to 40% of people who strongly approve of the president, do you just want to hear from him? if you're in the other side, do you just want to watch someone like congressman kennedy and dream of a new camelot? what we need to find somehow or another is a middle ground here
