fear that somewhere down the road a prosecutor or congress is going to ask to hear what's in those conversations. that's a conversation between the adviser and the president. this idea that during the transition anybody that steve bannon talked to, that that should somehow be kept from the congress, i would hope that my republican friends would remember that just not that long ago, in the benghazi investigation, they were calling secretary clinton and others. we now have this sort of set of things that you can claim not to testify. today as has been reported mr. lewandowski decided he didn't want to talk to congress about anything that happened after he left the campaign. the reason given was that he wasn't prepared. i mean, look. being questioned by congress is a fundamental, essential element of preserving our democracy. and so we just cannot allow all of these crazy new ideas, excuses for not testifying to congress, to stand. >> how does it work? wherever bannon is tonight, he remains under your subpoena? and is subject to be called back and you just have to decide when
