she spoke out on morning television today. i think we have some of her interview. >> i'm not calling for him to step down. that was never my intention. for people to know -- i just wanted him to understand what he did was wrong in how he treated me, in how abusers who, i think, do that under the guys that it was funny, or i can get away with it because it was funny. that's never funny. >> reporter: nobody is laughing now at the photo that al franken was involved in. he played this off as a joke but addressed it more completely in a longer second statement he put out yesterday saying, quote, i don't know what was in my head when i took that picture, and it doesn't matter. there's no excuse. i look at it now and i feel disgusted with myself. it isn't funny. it's completely inappropriate.
