and the san juan airport has added more flights and a new radar, but the airport is packed with people that are trying to leave the island. nbc's gaddy schwartz reports on efforts to get help to people on remote parts of the island. >> reporter: in some remote parts of puerto rico calls for help are written on rooftops, family desperate for aid, roads obliterated from flooding. the puerto rico national guard helicopters giving aid where this 8-year-old says they need supplies. she's worried about her grandparents who she hasn't heard from in days. >> i hope you're fine, and i love you. >> reporter: a nearby oil drilling ring was damaged by had hurricane. if this would have come aground and hit puerto rico, how bad
