solidarity in order to win whatever sport they're playing. i think this is -- you know, it's a terrible thing for the country, but i think it's probably a very good thing for these teams. >> so, susan, is there any guess on why the president dragged himself into this debate on friday night in alabama and then doubled down with new tweets today? >> i think it's basically because he's read all the press clippings about him and bannon going head to head in this alabama primary. and let's not forget he's trying to take a page out of bannon's playbook. just several weeks ago bannon said and i just want to read this, the democrats, the longer they talk about identity politics, i've got them. i want them to talk about racism every day. and i think that donald trump has decided i know where bannon is going to go. i'm going to go there first, and he did this morning for political reasons and political gain than anything else. i do agree with the governor, though, that there is some benefit that we're seeing about this. if nothing else they brought the players and the owners together in football.
