afghanistan or in iraq. possibly if it were something outside, you know, something in pakistan or iran or north korea that were being contemplated. yes. but in afghanistan, i don't think so. but to go to your question, brian, perhaps there is a psychological piece of this, but my sense, my strong sense is that this was advised by the generals on the ground for the target, for the tunnel infrastructure there to get at the isis target. and if this wasn't meant to send some broader message, about what america can do around the world. >> jack jacobs, what do you make of the learning curve here, what the president is learning about what the military can do and how he's learning it? >> well, one of the things he's learned is to delegate responsibility and decision making. i mean, he's distancing himself from the micro management that took place in the previous administration. and i think he was involved in it at the very beginning. he doesn't want to do it and he sent the decision making down to the field commanders and that's where the decision was made. and i agree he didn't eastern
