center but there are still big areas of the city that may still be under militant control. >> kevin, let me bring you into the conversation here, sir. how significant is the liberation here of ramadi, significant from both a strategic standpoint as well as a public relations standpoint, if you will? >> well, it is a big deal. for sure. it's something that the pentagon has said was in the works and was going to be coming for months really. ramadi was taking long ago and there's been a lot of ginning up people saying, let's go fight an take that city back and how could we let it fall after all the american blood that was shed in the iraq war? but the way the pentagon has handled it has been to wait, sit on the outskirts, to train and really work behind the scenes to get the iraqis to come back together, get trained up and do what they can bit by bit. this is really kind of step one
