after last night. is there a change at all in his focus today, because his role here has changed a little bit. >> reporter: because he wasn't the standout guy. that was what was interesting last night. this morning, everybody's talking about marco rubio, ted cruz and for a very different reason, jeb bush. yet donald trump still says, you heard him last night, hey, they all say we won the debate. that is debatable, let's say, but it does show how trump is just refusing to see himself as neg but a front-runner in the gop tee bait. he had some good moments, let's be clear. by many accounts his attack on john kasich with the lehman brothers issues will be seen as well received by conservative primary voters but at the same time, trump was sort of silent for long periods. he also, this is a debate focused on business and the economy which one would expect might be in the billionaire businessman's wheel house and we simply didn't see that much out of donald trump last night. that said, you know he's going to come out today and talk about how well he performed and how well he did, and on social media
