i would say the private sector? the public sector union? what about the private sector? are they trying to recruit numbers? their numbers are dwindling. why do you think that is? >> the private sector unions are trying to recruit veterans. to . i chair the union vet council for the afl-cio. we have the helmets to hardhat programs. many of them are trying to recruit veterans into the trades programs. electricians, plumbers, those type things. the number of union members are going down in the private sector and i think because in this country it is harder to form an join unions and we see an attack upon unions and the political process in this country. as unions have deteriorated, we've seen a loss in real income of the people in this country whether you were a union member or not. >> i look at the private sector. veterans are more likely to be small business owners, they're more likely to vote, more likely
