prosecution's case which is largely a circumstantial evidence case. there's no murder weapon that's been found. there are no independent eyewitnesses. there are allegedly three people involved in this murder and the other two have not come forward to testify against aaron hernandez. they are going to be tried separately and hernandez has issues after this if he's found not guilty. in this case there's still a double murder trial awaiting him sometime down the road that he allegedly committed. a lot of trouble for this once rising star. but the prosecution case basically rests on circumstantial evidence because they've not been able to put hernandez, put the gun in his hand. they put together a number of bits of evidence that put him at the scene of the crime. what the defense is trying to do now is pick apart little bits of the dna evidence and other physical evidence to try and cast some doubt about it because most analysts seem to think at this point the prosecution has a strong case that doesn't just
