chuck todd. good to see you. >> good morning, jose. >> with this recent justice department report citing incidents of racism in the ferguson p.d. how much does the responsibility fall now on the federal government to the do something? >> well, look i mean obviously you know there's going to -- any investigation on what happened and what happened last night, i mean i can tell you the minute i saw the news one of those moments you're just like, oh my god. you know? this is is a tinderbox right now, and that's not a good thing. you know the role of the federal government can play here i think is to hurry up bring some calm bring some perhaps you get the fbi in there. get something in there so there is an investigation that's frankly outside the state of missouri. outside st. louis county at this point so everybody feels comfortable with what's going on. >> yeah. i want to talk iran with you, can chuck. president obama and secretary of state john kerry meeting next at the white house. how bad is the precedent that senate republicans have sent -- you know i mean a letter to the ayatollahs?
