loss and grieving but it does seem to me that maybe there's some things we should know about law enforcement officers in the context of funerals that is distinct. what should we know? >> well what you'll witness is a collective kind of grieving process. it's traumatic, and for police officers, each line of duty death, each shooting each assassination such as this really causes them to reflect on their own personal lives and their families. so it becomes, they tend to internalize this a lot. what is also interesting is you'll find if any in the private sector if there was a murder on the job of your colleagues, that there would be grief counselors who rush into the place, and there would be no expectation that work would go on as usual, but as a professional police officer, along with dealing with their own mortality, your own vulnerabilities relating to the families, you still have to do the work so it's really a tremendously sad and sorrowful
