the jobs report out today says the economy added 288,000 jobs in the month of june, good number. today, in fact, marks 52 straight months of private sector job growth. it's the longest job growth streak on record. oh, and there's more good news, 9.7 million jobs have been added since 2010 and 1.4 million of those jobs were added in the first half of this year and it's the most since the first half of any year since 1999. it's all positive. the unemployment rate now has dropped to 6.1%. it's the lowest rate since september of 2008. more positive news? oh, yeah. not bad for the obama economy. earlier today president obama said the economy is doing good, but it could be better if republicans would reach across the aisle and just do their jobs. >> we just got the jobs report
