the weather channel mike seidel live in new orleans. so good morning, mike. how are the conditions there right now? >> pretty quiet this morning. in the big easy, light rain falling, occasional showers, one big sdwaquall early recalearlie. the city has had ten inches of rainfall. it's been able to get it out of streets. they did turn one pump on late friday. even the london avenue canal. and pumping the water from lake ponchartrain. under the tornado watch until 4:00. may extend it farther out in time. they have again doing that since late friday night, early yesterday morning and a flash-flood watch. plenty of rain off the gulf and until this pulls by, we'll have to deal with scattered showers and thunderstorms. and rainfall rates, as much as 1 to 2 inches of rain an hour. finally lee made landfall earlier this morning, down near vermillion parish.
