texting or reading while you're trying to have this conversation. you wonder, whatever happened to common courtesy? well, it's digital detox week. this week a national push for people to, quote, turn off entertainment screen media and turn on life. but there are plenty of teens and let's face it adults who'd say my screens are my life. carol mccarthy is staff reporting with cnet.com. seven days they want, no facebook, no computer, no smart phones. i don't believe it. can it be done? >> i don't either. i don't think so either. i think for kids, you're seeing all of these headlines about kindergarten classes getting equipped with ipads. for adults they're a crucial part of their business life inside and outside of the office. i think it is only a small segment of the population who would actually be able to pull this off. >> so what do we do about what really is, you see it, somebody starts at a dinner table and all of a sudden everybody at the dinner table -- >> on the phones. >> right.
