at this time? what does that mean if you agree with it for situations around the world? >> i don't think this was a unique humanitarian crisis. there are many humanitarian crises, many of which we could do at a lower cost. the honest truth is that i am not a libya expert and having said more than i should have on iraq and gotten a lot of that wrong, i'm loathed to do it green. but there's a lot we could do in this world. this may be a good choice among many, people who know this issue a lot better than do i have said it is. it's a difficult engagement. we don't think, i think a lot of people agree, there's not been a truly clear mission. it's not clear what we do in the situation like rich engel just pointed out when not doing all that much turns out to be not doing enough. at the end of the day, we don't like losing wars. >> if we let him win, what does it say to the other arab uprisings right now?
