solidly and from what we were able to see today that those claims seem accurate, a large stretch of territory that extends from the egyptian border and goes west to just beyond benghazi. you talked about benghazi today being in the protesters hands, in the rebels' hands. that is very significant. it is the second biggest city in this country and so if they control the second city and control all of the territory along the northern coastline, which is the strategic med t mediterranean coastline, that is a large portion of the country and accounts for about a third of the entire territory of libya and a lot of its populated areas in the south, it's mostly desert. >> richard engel, thank you very much for the update. there is breaking news coming out of the connected to the crisis. we're watching in libya. the violence there has pushed oil prices on the new york
