advisory that it's quite possible they're going to call this take away the tropical storm warnings in the gulf coast. now there's even a possibility, bill reports, that this depression will be degraded further to a lower category just becoming a low pressure system out there. and as bill has reported, having no more effect in the oil spill area than a typical afternoon thunderstorm. so against what was feared, this is very good news for so many people. it may mean that the ships they were going to pull out can stay and the coastal communities that were worried about lots of oil perhaps washing ashore will have less of a threat now. the biggest threat in that regard is along the louisiana coast and that marshland area. but the storm was also being watched carefully in mississippi, alabama, and florida. and we're going to have a briefing from thad allen in an hour and a half. and that's when we'll hear the plans as they adjust their plans now that it seems this weather system is falling apart. not nearly as bad as originally thought. back to you. >> that's good news.
