top, from my ears, the top lawyers. number two at the justice department under clinton. they are getting the best lawyers in the country. why wouldn't bp go for the best lawyers? they've got the biggest problem. they got the most money. you get the best lawyers. that's the way it works. what do you make of the $20 billion? can it mean faster payment under feinberg, or can it just look like it's going to be faster? >> well, i think two things. bp has zero bargaining leverage related to the cleanup. they don't have a choice. the fact that it's paid out over four years is good from an investor's standpoint so people don't completely give up on bp. where would they be if they went belly up? all the people that need payments wount get any if they were in bankruptcy court. i think it's a good move tochlt have a panel that can move rapidly. the way i understand it, bp will pass on it first.
