the south florida woman convicted of trying to hire a hit man to kill her husband is starting a long prison sentence now. dahlia dipolito was sent to jail for 20 years yesterday. she was caught on video offering a man $3,000 for the murder of her husband. it turns out the man was an undercover officer. dipolito's husband says he is, quote, 5,000% happy with her sentence. >> a south texas mom received five years probation and a tongue lashing for spanking her own child. rosalina gonzalez was arrested after the spanking left a few red marks on her 2-year-old daughter's rear end. the judge bluntly told the mother, quote, you don't spank children today. the state took away the girl and her two siblings. gonzalez is now working to get them back. >> pretty tough. couple interesting tidbits. no belt was used in the spanking. some people said what sort of spank was this, there was no belt used or anything like that. the mother was also arrested after the paternal grandmother complained to authorities. >> in case you are wondering how they found out about this.
