a lot has changed, and it's given me the opportunity to speak about criminal justice reform. >> sandra: you met with lawmakers yesterday to talk about the struggles that you personally faced twice, by the way. what were some of those? i know that you are going to use your own personal experiences to try to help others. >> come yes. i spoke about the barriers to employment, as well as the violations that some of those that have home probation, allowing them to be locked up without actually committing another crime. >> sandra: some of the facts here to remind everybody because it has been a while. allowing for discretion in sentencing drug offenders. reducing some mandatory minimums for nonviolent crimes. it reduces three strikes for drug felonies from life to 25 years, and it provides prisoners with a second chance.
