partial shutdown. another day and more refusing to show up from work if they aren't collecting a pay check. all this as travellers are remaining very sympathetic. phil keating is live at miami international airport with the latest. phil? >> reporter: dana, two airport principles that we can all agree on are that travellers that can get through the tsa security screening check points as fast as possible and with as little hasable as possible. those federal agents monitoring for weapon ors contraband want to get paid. because the partial government shutdown, those pay checks have not come to these workers in about a month now. and this friday could be the second pay day in a row that they don't get a check. according to the airport, everybody's going through security in about 20 minutes. that's a typical on a normal day shutdown or not. they call it a limited tsa presence. but really, the experience here, this looks like a very normal day at the airport.
