they are doing, what they are showing people. we have big problems at the moment. i think problems can be solved at some point. but at the moment democracy is in trouble. >> tucker: so republicans don't want to do figure because they are free market absolutists under the narcotics sway of the libertarian religion. and democrats don't want to do anything because they know it helps them. but without congress acting, would anybody trust our electoral system as honest and on the up-and-up? >> well, i wouldn't trust it at the moment. because, you know, in the research i do, you know, i have found number one that it is easy to shift a lot of votes without people knowing that they are being influenced. so that is a problem. and the other problem is you can do this without leaving a paper trail. so at the moment we are in deep trouble. you hit the nail on the head. republicans are not doing anything about it.
