there's some policies i would like to seen taken up. but here, mitch mcconnell is steadfast. he's changed the rules. they'll get it through. they'll have a tight window to navigate. they'll make sure it happens. >> dana: another issue you want to see reformed is prison reform. you have a possibility of movement going forward. you think a change in the court and activity and focus can help you get that across the finish line? >> any time you discuss the criminal justice system, it brings up a lot of issues. it's good for discussion. the prison reform is something that the president asked for. he talked about it. total discussion is something very good. we're looking forward to moving the bill that we passed with almost 100% of the republicans 60% of democrats in the house to the senate. they have the bill now. we have great meetings on that we're looking forward to it.
