in any sort of a nuclear deal. let's watch mike pompeo. >> we are hopeful that we will put ourselves in a position where we can do something the previous administration didn't do. right? they signed a flimsy piece of paper. we are hoping to submit a document that congress would also have a say in it, that would give the currency and the strength and elongation to the process. >> harris: democrats i've talked to on the program say they are ready to step up and be part of the solution in the bipartisan manner. tell me what is happening on the hill? >> it's encouraging first to hear secretary pompeo say that. really, two things are going on here. one that actually has the procty -- practical effect to enhance the leverage when they sit down with the north koreans because they can point to us and say listen, our system of government, the congress gets a say. this has to be approved by the american people through the elected representatives. so we need a good deal.
