they are closing streets in different variations depending on the day and trying to change patterns. to me as an observer of this, that tells me they are hearing something. >> i'm not aware of specific threats against new york city. having said that new york city is the number one target in the world. the christmas season has been highlighted by the islamist movement as a time to attack. they did last year in europe. and also there have been recent isis cartoons and that type of thing talking about christmas in new york. so while there is no specific threat, the nypd is aware there is encouragement being given to carry out attacks in new york at christmastime and why you are seeing this increased nypd activity and bill a lot of it you aren't seeing and that's probably the best part of it. >> bill: thank you for your time. appreciate you coming back. peter king on capitol hill today.
