i want to ability of our government to look into messages and e-mails and internet exchanges where there is probably cause one of the people involved in a conversation is a terrorist. once we get a court order, one of the people talking on the other end of the communication outside of the country, is talking to somebody in our country, i want to ability to decode the conversation and detect the next 9/11 which is coming. i asked the director do you agree with me there are more save havens and groups with weapons that can attack us greater since 9/11 and he said yes. >> martha: how is the technology industry in this country going to feel if communication they would not allow to be investigated by the fbi could have revealed and allowed them to stop such an attack, senator?
