too far in the rhetoric. he had to back off a little bit. it's going to take time to crick will in. what the administration was saying few days, we're going on to have more forest fires, nuclear wasteland and untranslated intercepts from terrorists but none of which is going to happen immediately. the president has a lot riding of feeling these budget cuts very quickly. >> dana: what do think the republicans messaging can be in the next couple of weeks. you saw mitch mcconnell and john boehner saying we're not going to be part of a back room deal. and then president obama backing off and trying to place the blame of impact squarely on them. do you think in this case, it's not that anybody won but everybody lost? >> i think it's bad for everyone in washington.
