approval rating is 47% or above there is a lot of red there. it doesn't track to the polls and the battleground state. how do you see it shaping up? >> the interesting thing about the polls and the republicans were complaining about the party makeup in the poll stam approximatelying, and -- sampling and didn't make a huge difference. what struck me in the polls, especially pennsylvania and ohio, a since of hopelessness among voters. they don't believe the economy will get better, anytime soon no, matter who is elected president. a lot of them are concluding they'll stick with obama because it understands the problem. more empathetic. this indicates romney is having a hard time to make the sell. he is not hoping for getting better in the future. there is grumbling among republicans who haven't made it done well, the stump
