country around support for the president and to demonstrate that he is a leader and he has a vision and a sense of the whole country. by being partisan about a man who authorized a raid that failed, who was a naval veteran for 10 years it cheapens the whole process and all of us. >> politically, i don't say this because i worked for president carter, which i did and was proud of it, but his popularity has skyrocketed, post presidency. and which is what i mean about snarky politics. the only people who care about that carter comment are republican base voters who better be voting for romney and anyone over the age of 50 or under the age of 50 wasn't an adult when jimmy carter was president. that was 32 years ago and no independents are democrats they need to winner appealed to by that kind of snarky comment.
