people asked him to bend a little to the protesters, okay, i will lift this emergency law that's been in place for 40 years. he basically said none of it. >> just the opposite. megyn: he said, i will not be forced into doing anything. and now new protests are reported and there are questions about whether the united states is doing the right thing in going into syria and completely ignoring -- excuse me, libya, and ignoring syria. >> this is the problem with president obama's decision to go into libya on humanitarian grounds. if it's only humanitarian grounds, why not syria, why not yemen, why not ivory coast, why not sudan? even secretary of defense gates said it's not strictly humanitarian. it's not clear that we know what we're doing in libya.
