here because the president, many argue, dr. higgins, at the time that the health care debate was going on, should have been more involved in the process and not handed the gavel over to nancy pelosi. is this now the end result? >> absolutely. and who should have been involved was, perhaps, practicing physicians who can talk about reality rather than theory. >> all right. and so if you were to speak, what would you say? >> well, i would say that, you know, i think where we're sitting right now and where the president is is exactly from -- from how this was done handing it over to pelosi rather than handling it himself, he's now dealing with the end results of that. i mean, we have to look at the fact that physicians as a whole are not behind this. that the people have spoken are not behind it and unless we begin to educate our citizens as to what health really is and as to what wellness is, we are going to be in the same place over and over and over again regardless of how much money we spend. >> i know -- go ahead.
