school since december 10. do you think that's the right thing to do or should they not go to school on this day? >> look, the day is a holiday and i am very grateful. i think this may be the 25th year of the holiday. but the fact of the matter is, dr. king was as much for education as he was for health care, as he was for access to economic opportunities, and if we are really as seriously making up for a snow day by going to school on king's birthday, i really cannot find a whole lot of fault with that. if you're doing it for sinister reasons, then that's one thing. but if you're doing it trying to further the education of school children, dr. king would be glad to have his day used in such a way. >> steve: certainly, they'll learn more in school if they slept 'til noon.
