but does it seem like we're going in the right direction, or were these just temporary hires because of christmas? >> it's a great headline number. we have been above 400,000 and hovering around that 430, 450 number every single week, really, for all of 2010. so to get below 400 is nice. we like to look at the four-week moving average because of the seasonality, one week that's a blip for whatever reason. we like to look at the four-week moving average, so early january, first two weeks, let's see if we can continue this trend. that's a big number to look for. bill: in all honesty you've got to be around 250 a month to get the jobs picture back in order. >> right. and let's not forget next friday, a week from tomorrow, we get the big monthly unemployment report, and that's the big one to really look at. bill: chris cotter, thank you, from fbn. we'll check you out at 1:00 with lori, right? >> you got it. will bill don't miss it.
