bill: about 9,000 acres, totally lost, so far in this early winter season. and, florida's governor extended the state of emergency that allows weight restrictions on big trucks, to be dropped until the end of the month which really helped farmers get what is salvagable and that is what they are in now, salvage mode out to the processors. arthel: not good news and you held up a couple of those florida on, there. what happens to them. >> reporter: so far, florida citrus says the $9 billion citrus industry appears to be minimally impacted here, this is more of a vegetable event so far but they are noticing spotting of some of their fruit. however, some of the items that are basically unscathed, oranges, avacados, celery, lettuce, grapefruit and radishes but that is so far, and, really, winter has only just begun and it comes on top of last january being a very devastating month for agriculture and 2010 will go down pretty bad for florida farmers. arthel: you feel for them, phil
