extend the recovery act tax cuts. the stimulus which is controversial and a lot have argued it has not been effective, does expire at the end of the year so the tax cuts would also go away. the president's expression of support for extending them today doesn't really shock anybody but the idea he wouldn't pay for it after all of the rhetoric and the debt commission that is underway right now talking about austerity and ways people will be responsible for spending taxes in this country and not keep loading up the $13.6 trillion debt, there is a disconnect. >>neil: what is interesting, now my tax cut is bigger than your tax cut, or you know, let's keep pushing who has the bigger tax cut, but, bottom line, where do you think this ultimately goes in the three weeks or so of the lame duck session?
