the president in charge? asking this because she wonders will the republicans and the democrats get anything done post elections? >> i think that is a wonderful question. i don't think the question of partisan gridlock will come down to the power of the presidential veto. i understand how that could seem like a scary thing. the real question is which republicans are elected, which democrats are elected, and are they willing to do what this congress has been unwilling to do, compromise on pieces of the moderate mainstream legislation? that is going to be where the action is, not with a presidential veto. >> jenna: do you agree with that? no presidential veto being the issue, and we will see bipartisan? what do you think? >> no, i think unformerly barack obama isn't going to listen to bill clinton and learn a lesson from this, really the blow-out that will to occur on tuesday. he is going to be more partisan. i think we could expect to see a lot of showdowns, a lot of vetoes over spending bills.
